Hall Street Church is a landmark Gothic Church with a spire and a modern hall attached called the Lantern Centre.

This embracing of the old and new, the traditional and the modern is a sign of our ongoing refurbishment programme and the ethos of our Church, seeking to cater for all ages and needs within our Church family and local community.

Our Sunday morning worship is varied with both a traditional and a more modern approach to worship, using projection sometimes yet also including the important strands of our Methodist and United Reformed heritage. This is offered as a Hybrid service and therefore all services are available on Zoom or in the sanctuary.

We do our best to make everyone feel welcome at church and there is always a cup of tea, coffee and a biscuit to enjoy following the service for those who wish to stay...a great way for us all to get to know each other a little better. We also have a music group that play on occasions throughout the year.

We are very active in youth work, with the Sunday Club and Youth Club for various ages of young people on a Monday night. (Kids@theHub). We also have a seasonal lunch club reaching out to families of all ages in bid to combat holiday hunger.

We have a series of Bible Discussion Groups throughout the year, including at Lent and Advent, and a monthly Prayer Meeting. We recognise we have a large building able to hosts concerts and events and welcome the community to use our worship space.

picture of churchWe rejoiced in sharing Carol Services and Concerts with our local schools and seek to build on this community involvement. We join with other Churches in Llanelli in community concerns and support the work of the Food Bank and other charities.

Our modern and well-equipped Lantern Centre (with good disabled access and facilities) enables us to be at the heart of the community with many local groups using it. We seek to be supportive of these groups and run Charity Fayres throughout the year. These excellent facilities are available to rent at a competitive rate

We offer a warm welcome to all who might like to join our united family in our various activities.
