Mabel's Haven Holiday Cottage, Tenby

For some years the circuit has managed a legacy given by the late Mabel Roberts to provide free holidays for Supernumerary Ministers. This was first done using her former home in St Davids.

When that became unsustainable, other ways of fulfilling the purposes were sought. The circuit has now found a way of making possible Mabel Roberts’ wishes by using the legacy to renovate its former manse in Tenby as a holiday cottage making money from ordinary lets to provide the cost of upkeep & the provision of free holidays for Supernumeraries when the cottage is not booked.

Details of Mabel's Haven Holiday Cottage

Situated in a prime location a short stroll from Tenby’s golf club and the North Beach, this well furnished house offers excellent holiday accommodation. The charming old Town with its picturesque harbour, shops and restaurants is less than 5 minutes walk away.

A home from home, Mabel’s Haven offers the ideal base to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable stay in one of Pembrokeshire’s most vibrant towns and explore the beautiful county of Pembrokeshire. There is a wealth of attractions and activities to suit all ages, including Folly Farm, Caldey Island, walking, cycling, water sports, horse riding, golfing, fishing, etc.

Mabel’s Haven sleeps 8 (and a baby) in 4 first floor bedrooms. There are 2 rooms with double beds, one room with twin beds and one room with bunk beds. The bathroom which has a bath with a shower over the bath, wc and wash basin is also on the first floor. There is also a toilet downstairs. There is a lounge with 2 comfortable 3 seater settees, digital TV, WiFi, DVD player and a dining room which seats 8. There is also a kitchen diner which is well equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and table and chairs for 4.

Outside there is also a lovely conservatory to sit in and relax in the evenings with a small garden area outside with a bench. There is a very small garage but a car can be parked partly in the garage and partly on the drive. The parking in the street is by permit which can be obtained from Pembrokeshire County Council prior to the holiday. There is also a car park at the nearby railway station.
