As a class meeting of Albany Church, over the last few years we have faced the challenges of reduced membership, but through prayer we have remained committed and faithful to the task of witnessing to the Love of Christ in our local community.
Sunday by Sunday, we gather at 3 pm to enjoy fellowship style worship. A small close group we enjoy an informal time of sharing with the opportunity to consider the relevance of God and putting him at the centre of our Christian faith in action.
Our church building is small, very comfortable and a flexible space. It is used regularly by groups including: Christian Forum which is a Christian Ecumenical group, who have series of Bible studies on Thursday Evenings, with various speakers. These sessions bring together friends varied Christian backgrounds across Pembrokeshire, and we share and learn from each other’s experiences.
The Chapel has always had a ministry amongst the young, and the Church Army now hold Youth Drop In sessions called “The Bridge”, on Wednesday and Thursday after school, from 3.30 pm – 5 pm.
The Hall and Upper Room are furnished with Audio Visual equipment and settees and coffee tables, for a more relaxed environment to accommodate the young people who gather.
We continue to pray that we may seek further opportunities for mission and outreach in our local neighbourhood, and we ask God’s Blessing on all we do. So whether you are new to the area, or have always lived here, you are assured of a warm welcome at any of our services. For further info contact Angela Laws .
